Lights...Camera... Ballroom. Pasha Kovalev (from BBC TV’s Strictly Come Dancing) retured with his brand-new show The Magic of Hollywood.
We were delighted that Pasha has asked GSS to be the guest performers in his Swindon show at the Wyvern Theatre on Friday 27th April, having danced for him back in 2014.
This amazing new show was jam-packed with sequins, glitz and glamour as Pasha took to the stage with his sensational dancers as they perform Oscar-worthy performances all set to a Hollywood them. GSS pupils performed two dances in the show, including being joined by Pasha himself in one of the numbers! It was lovely to see Pasha and the dancers watching the GSS pupils from backstage after their quick changes and Pasha was very complimentary to Miss Gemma about the pupils and the standard of their work.
Congratulations to all our students who performed beautifully in our Christmas Concert on Saturday. A big thank you to all the parents who helped, Sue, Russell and all our wonderful GSS teachers.

On Saturday 8th August, Miss Gemma & Russell were delighted to have some of the GSS Musical Theatre students singing at their wedding at Christ Church. The students worked hard with Miss Amy in preparation for the special day, and performed a beautiful harmony version of "Can You Feel The Love Tonight?" So many of Miss Gemma & Russell's family and friends commented on how great it was to hear the students singing, and it brought a tear to many eyes in Christ Church!
Miss Gemma and Russell were delighted and honoured to see so many GSS students and families at the marriage ceremony and for drinks and cakes in the church grounds following the service. They would like to thank everyone at the school who helped make their day so special and for the many beautiful gifts that they received.

The show has excellent choreography, fine dancers and a strong, well-co-ordinated chorus. Groups of characters create swirling patterns on stage, as the action glides from scene to scene"
