Successes of former GSS Students

We are always proud to see students graduate from GSS to pursue full time vocational training in Dance and Theatre Arts, and whilst we are sad to say farewell, we do so with all good wishes and excitement of what we might see them achieve in the future.

Kaitlyn Hill - Wilkes Academy (Sept 2016)

We are so pleased that Kaitlyn began full time training with a full scholarship at the Wilkes Academy from September 2016.

Students study towards a vocational qualification through an extensive training programme from a world-class faculty of teachers, and are fully equipped for a career in the industry.

Kaitlyn performed in Swindon's professional pantomime for the second year running, and was seen in "Cinderella" during Dec 2016/Jan 2017 at the Wyvern Theatre.  In 2017, Kaitlyn also danced at the BRIT Awards with Little Mix!

In July 2016, Kaitlyn, and her sister Chloe, kindly donated a lovely trophy to GSS which will be awarded annually to a student who demonstrates Outstanding Endeavour in their dance training - thank you Kaitlyn!

Congratulations on all of your achievements Kaitlyn; we will miss you both, but look forward to seeing your continued success in the future!

Karis Wilkinson - Tring Park (Sept 2014)

Congratulations to Karis Wilkinson on gaining a Full Scholarship to Tring Park School for the Performing Arts.

Karis is one of only nine students awarded the Music & Dance Scheme Award across all age groups in the school; Karis will start her full time education and vocational training with Tring in September 2014.

Karis had previously been invited to join the Royal Academy of Dance Programme, where she attended weekly classes at the prestigious Elmhurst Ballet School.

Last year Hannah also gained a place with the prestigious English National Ballet’s Youth Dance Company where she subsequently trained at the English National Ballet studios every week whilst also continuing her training, examination, festival and performance work at GSS.

Congratulations Hannah!  We look forward to seeing what you achieve in the future.
